Carolina describes the design process for this space: “From the beginning, this project led us on a profound journey through Vietnamese culture. We studied its history, its aesthetics, and its way of understanding life so that, upon crossing the threshold of La Vietnamita, visitors feel transported directly to Vietnam: a place where serenity, artisanal beauty, and inner strength coexist. La Vietnamita pays homage to the Vietnamese woman—brave, hardworking, and spiritual—whose essence we wanted to reflect in every detail of the space. Her figure becomes a symbol of resilience, delicacy, and authenticity. On a personal level, this project has a very special meaning for me. It coincided with my own cancer treatment, a difficult and transformative period that, in some way, permeated every creative decision. Seeing the final result has been a profound learning experience and an immense reward: confirmation that beauty and strength can flourish even in the most challenging times.”
